Donation Calendar for the spay/neuter campaign February/March 2012

Dear donors,
we urgently need your generous support for the next spay & neuter campaign. This time you will be able to see exactly for which animal you donated using our donation calendar.

The overall costs of the campaign include the following:

flights, salaries, boarding/housing for vet Nina and assistant
medical surgery-material (sterile gloves, medical drapes, swaps, surgical suture material etc.)
medicines for surgeries (anaesthesia, pain killers, antibiotics etc.)
medicines for further treatment directly after surgeries (deworming, treatment against fleas and ticks , vitamin-/restorative-injections etc.)

When you convert this into the costs per animal, you get the following results:

60,- US$ / 45,- € for a female dog
35,- US$ / 25,- € for a male dog
35,- US$ / 25,- € for a cat
20,- US$ / 15,- € for a tom-cat
135,- US$ / 100,- € for other surgical-emergencies (amputations, eye-surgeries etc.)

Each donation from you is split accordingly (depending on the amount) and will be entered into the calendar now. At the end of each day of surgery the pictures of the treated animals will be matched with your names and published, which will look more or less like this:

You can donate in your own name or give a spay/neuter-sponsorship as a gift, then the name of the presentee will be published. Please send a short e-mail with your name and/or the name of the presentee and the place of residence to miriam@amigos-de-lucky.org in any case to make the assignment easier...
